Ok I jus installed a viper 5701 in my 240sx to upgrade from the viper 350 plus that I had installed previously first of all this alarm is neat I love 2way it lets me know what's up if my car is messed with... ok my issues are down below


*( silent mode off/on)I don't kno how to turn the chirps back on

*(ignition controlled locks) what's the procedure to have this work

*(pink/white ignition2 programed as starer 2)

* ebrake (black white) on the 240sx at the ebrake its yellow and purple stripe I dnt know if changes from the cluster (brake light) I have it grounded right now

Rs in:
I have the tach. Hooked up
The brake wire is hooked up
The hood pin is hooked

H3:
All reds hooked up
Starter kill hooked up
Orange accs hooked up

H1
Door trigger hooked up
Ground
BLACK/ white domelight (relay wired)
Parking light
Siren

Ns switch hooked up

Door locks hooked up (dei 451m) added power locks *****nice****


If I'm missing some thing let me know

The three top issues are all in the programming menus, you just have to turn them on, leave the e-brake wire grounded.

if he's doing manual transmission mode he should not leave the parking brake wire grounded. this is his second thread on this, and he seems to be against testing wires..
