Hi all,
I just finished installing a Christmas present, an Avital 4103LX on my 2008 Hyundai Sonata. Everything went great, all functions work as they are supposed to, with one exception.
The system will not lock/unlock the doors with the ignition, even though it was programmed for this option. Also, the remote does lock and unlock the doors fine if the car is off, or if the car is running on the remote starter, but if I crank the car with the factory key, the lock and unlock feature of the Avital remote does not work.
I'm not really sure where to go from here. Thanks in advance.

The avital remotes wont work with the key on or when the car is running using the key

Yes they will. you need to hook up disarm, along with a negative pulse to lock detection, and obviously a negative pulse to the unlock.
