Ok, so I thought I had my install under control, but I have issues with my remote start. Right now, the parking lights, horn and door locks all work. However, my remote start will not. The red led on the key lights up, the buzzer sounds and then the parking lights flash 7 times when I try to remote start (with the key in the ignition, I will hook up the PKFM when i can actually get the thing to start). By reading the manual I understand it means its in manual trans mode. I tried going through the menu and switching it to auto trans mode, but I'm not sure if it took or not (how do you tell if it worked?) Here is how I have everything hooked up:
Harness 1:
H1/1 RED / white trunk release: Unconnected for now
H1/2 Red 12v (+): Connected to 12v+ Constant Yellow via Ignition Harness
H1/3 Brown (-) horn: Connected to yellow/light green via ignition harness.
H1/4 WHITE/ brown Light flash: Not connected
H1/5 Black ground : Connected to vehicle ground at driver kick panel
H1/6 Violet (+) door trigger input: Do I connect this directly to door trigger BLACK/ light blue at driver kick panel?
H1/7 Blue (-) factory horn input: Not connected
H1/8 Green (-) door trigger input: Not connected
H1/9 BLACK/ white dome light output: Unconnected (does this wire go to 86 or 30 on the relay?)
H1/10 WHITE/ blue (-) remote start/turbo timer activation: Not connected
H1/11 White parking light output: Connected to brown at headlight switch (set parking light polarity fuse inside 5101 module to +)
H1/12 Orange grounded when armed: Unconnected for now
Aux harness (H2)
Not connected
Heavy Gauge 8 pin connector
H3/1 Pink (+) ignition input: Connected to RED / light green wire at ignition harness
H3/2 RED / White (+) fused ignition 2: Hooked to 12v+ Constant Yellow via Ignition Harness
H3/3 Orange accessory output: Connected to dark GREEN/ light green at ignition harness
H3/4 Violet starter output: Connected to red wire at ignition harness
H3/5 Red ignition input 1: Hooked to 12v+ Constant Yellow via Ignition Harness
H3/6 Pink/white ignition 2 : Not connected
H3/7 Pink/Black flex relay input: Not connected
H3/8 RED / Black (+) fused accessory/starter input: Hooked to 12v+ Constant Yellow via Ignition Harness
Remote start 5 pin connector
1 BLACK/ white (-) neutral safety switch input: Connected to vehicle ground
2 Violet/White tack input wire: Any wire not WHITE/ purple or red at ignition coil pack (directly below the ignition tumbler, this correct?)
3 Brown (+) brake shutdown wire: Connected to tan/black wire at brake pedal connector
4 gray n/o hood switch: Not connected for now
5 blue/white defogger output: Not connected
Remote Start Auxiliary Output 5 Pin Connector:
Not Connected
Door Lock Harness, 3-Pin Connector:
1 Blue: Connected to pink/light green at driver's kick panel harness to rear
2 Empty: Not used
3 Green: Connected to pink / YELLOW at driver's kick panel harness to rear
My issues revisited:
1) Is my wiring correct?
2) How do I tell if I was successful in switching from manual trans to auto trans mode?
3) Domelight supervision - Do I hook the H1/9 wire to pin 86 or 30 of the relay?
4) Tach input - there is a 4 wire connector leading directly to the ignition tumbler. Can I use any of these wires?
5) Any other input?
Thanks so much for any help.

if memory serves me i believe that 7 park-light flash means its in manual mode and does not have the safety sequence.
if it is an automatic program it for that
tach wire will be found under the hood on the engine

I tried that by holding the valet button, only I'm unsure as to how i verify that I did it correctly or that it "took".

Beautiful man, thanks. I read the install manual and was getting to the correct menu and option but I guess I wasn't understanding how to actually program it. Thanks again.
Any help on the dome light relay would be greatly appreciated.

Still having trouble with the dome light. Here is my problem now:
If I press LOCK and the dome light is off, the doors will lock, the horn will honk once and the Green LED will light up on the key pad.
If I press LOCK and the dome lights are on (if I just opened and closed the door), the doors will lock, the horn will honk twice with a slight pause in between each. Then I will get a fault beep and red LED flash on my keypad.
I just went and re-checked my wiring for the relay:
85 - H1/4 BLACK/ White - via Viper 5301
86 - 12v+ Constant Fused - via Yellow Wire in Ignition Harness
87 - Dome Light Supervision Polarity (+) or (-) - Door Trigger (+) is used so I hooked this up to 12v+ Constant, is this correct?
87a - Blank
30 - Dome Light Supervision - Door Trigger (+) Was Used - Verified via DMM 5 minutes ago that the correct wire is being used
Am I wrong on pin 87?

Also, as soon as the dome lights go off I am able to press LOCK and it will lock, honk and flash like its supposed to.

What wire on the explorer are you using for domelight?
Bulldog shows: the (+) BLACK/ LIGHT BLUE DOME LIGHT SUPERVISION wire, in the Larger of the (2) Harnesses in the Drivers Kick Panel. ------------- When all else fails, Read the Instructions

Using the BLACK/ Blue Wire. There were several BLACK/ blue wires in that bundle. I used the wire showing 12v with the door open

Update:
I turned off the door ajar warning Menu 2 Option 3 and viola the honk goes away when pressing LOCK when the dome lights are still on.
However, the dome lights still do not come on when pressing Unlock.
