Need more detail to offer assistance. You want to add an immobilizer? Meaning your car did not come with an immobilizer and you want to add more security to it?

Or... You want to add a bypass module to your AP901C? If this is what you are asking what bypass module do you have and what is the make/model/year of the vehicle in question?

After further research. I will need a transponder bypass for a 2001 Ford Explorer. Any suggestions for said model of remote start.

The DEI 1100F bypass module will work.  Available "online" for around $13.  No lost key, easy to program, will work with any remote starter and very reliable.

Need wiring info to install remote start in 01 ford explorer. Have questions about accessory connections. I only have one accessory wire coming from my remote start. Explorer has two accessory wires that are brown and one second accessory that is blk/grn. Can I just use relays to power the other wires?

Prestige APS901C DEI 1100f 01 Ford Explorer Sport Keyless entry Build date on vehicle 10/00 Having trouble disarming factory alarm. did not find drk grn/ purple wire in drivers kick panel or at CSM (pass kick panel) Found one at a deadend plug near CSM. When I try to do a remote start, I get three attempts with theft light flashing each time. Vehicle will start with remote and key in ignition. Do not think I am disarming factory alarm.

The factory alarm will only sound the horn.  To see if your truck has a Factory Alarm, shut all the doors except the drivers door. Roll down the drivers door window.  Lock the car with the drivers door lock button and close the drivers door.  Wait a few minutes and reach in and open the drivers door with the inside handle.  The alarm should not prevent the remote starter from starting the car,  More likely that the bypass is not programmed properly.

Try a Factory Reset on the DEI 1100F.  Then select and program the Installation Mode ( 2 blinks ).  Then proceed with the actual Type 1 transponder programming.

I have 2 second green after programming. The 1100F flashes 3 after that. Still have theft light flashing.

When the DEI 1100F is correctly programmed to the vehicle, it should start doing a double flash as soon as GRW goes active ( for Install Mode 2 - W2W ).  Once the engine starts, it should switch to a single blink pattern ( for PATS1).  You should only need one key to program.

Have been doing just like you say. Step (1) 2 x green flashes Standard installation. press and hold until solid. Step (2) turn key to on position 2 second green. 1100f then will flash 3 times like it is in type 3. Never red. Also the vehicle specific transponder connector type is a C not an A. Does that make it a type 3?
