Hi, new here with my first project - remote starter on a 1998 Volvo V70R. Right now my goal is to just get the locks working but am already stumped. Every source I have found all over the internet indicates that the factory alarm disarms with unlock but this isn't working for me. If I unlock the door with the key and disarm the alarm, the remote starter fob works the locks with no trouble. If I lock the car with the door switch and close the door, the fob no longer works - the led on the dash blinks slowly indicating armed. I've tried this with just taking the lock and unlock wires and grounding them (double for unlock) and still nothing which would eliminate the starter as the problem I guess. The starter I'm using is a prostart. Any help would be great.

i have it listed at gray/red (-) first pulse disarm, second pulse unlocks all doors.
