Does the Cliffnet wizard kit (consumer) - 905265, work with a USB2.0 to RS232 converter?

Don't think any work with the USB adaptors mate, iv had no luck at all, and the card slots on a laptop are USB swell so don't waste ur cash here either, iv just dug out an old pc to use
