Anyone know what i can use to do this? What im trying to do is, use one output from the alarm to activate 2 different output. One ouput the first press of the channel, the second when the channel is pressed again. I installed on a Mazda MPV with sliding doors. The use a one wire system so i need to open and close off of one output from the alarm. Any suggestions? Any idea where i can find a mechanical latched relay like what is used in the relay diagram on this site?

Not sure what year your MPV is so I can not verify what your vehicle requires...but I think what you are looking for is a device known as a channel creator. These devices are designed to do what I think you are looking for...create more than one output from a pulse of a single output. Before remote starters had the option of choosing how many pulses would activate them I would use a channel creator for the occasional vehicle that the owner did not want to carry a different remote. I probably still have a few on the shelf in my garage. I don't think you want a latching relay setup as that would provide a constant output each time you changed the state...meaning it would continue to provide your output at all times.

depending on the type of output the system has you might look into a DEI 450T. it turns a single channel into 6 programmable possibilities.
