trying to get rid of this for a while but i have a 556H and have a issue with this green reference wire and where the heck it goes.   https://www.directedstore.com/manuals/556HW.pdf

its a five pin plug the the wire its directing to, its NO pin there. Ive searched already and some tried to use the BROWN / black (negative) the ONLY other wire inthat harness that is not used and it didnt work. Can any one offer any expertise so i can get rid of this module?

Thanks!!

Good question.  Here is a link to the Fortin Key-Override-All for the 2002 Accord.   https://ifar.ca/download/425/preview.html    It is a 5 Pin connector and the colors match up but there is no pin outboard of the Ignition wire...  Pin 1 in cars with a 7 Pin connector using Mode 1 is chassis ground.  Might give it a try that way.

tedmond pin 1 is the ignition wire (yellow/black)   Pin 4 wire is the BROWN / black (negative). is that the one you are refering to? There is no wire in pin 5.

Did you try it going to chassis ground?  (Just connected to the remote starts chassis ground wire connection.)

I would connect it to the BROWN / black wire on plug. The issue may be the way you are programming it. As mentioned before the reference wire is a negative input. Programming may be a little confusing. I had a few that i got rid of and i had to basically follow the programming steps but i do it and turn off the car and then restart the car with the key. That is something the instructions didn't mention and it has worked.
