I am installing a Clifford 50.7x into my car and wanted to add the included revenger siren (DEI 514c), a mini piezo siren (513T), and backup siren (515r) to my car.

My question is can the alarms siren output handle these 3 sirens directly since the DEI 515R has its own power source? If not, how much amperage will these sirens need?

each siren draws about 2.5 amps if i remember correctly.

if you are powering multiple sirens use a relay

85 - ground
86 - siren (+) wire from unit
87 - constant 12v fused
30 - to all sirents (+) wire.

What i dislike about using a relay is that once the battery is disconnected, the 514c and the piezo would be off. I am running the DEI 520t so these sirens would still be whining if they were connected directly

Whenever installing multiple sirens, I always wire one to the security system siren output wire and than wire the rest through a relay

The 520t is only designed to handle the current draw of the alarm brain and the single standard siren. Running all three off it would exceed the current capacity of the backup battery and at worst overload the unit, or at best severely decrease the amount of time the battery can keep the system running.   Using the relay to power the additional sirens like 91stt said is probably your best bet. Also, be sure to use negative park lights with the 520t, so the backup battery doesn't attempt to power them as well without the cars battery connected.

here are some results from a recent test i did on some sirens.

revenger siren 1.1 amps
pain generator   .22 amps
5 generic minisirens(pain generators) simultaniously 1.1 amps

520T units have a really lame battery. upgrading to a battery about 4 times larger is a good step to take.

taxing the alarm brain with more than a siren/relay combo or siren/mini-siren combo might blow the circuit and then you would have NO siren hookup.

Back in my rookie days of installing, I tried hooking numerous sirens to the alarms siren output wire. I fried a few alarm brains in the process. I learned the hard way that you can get away with two, but any more that that and you WILL fry the siren output and have no sirens at all. The best way is to hook one up to the alarms output, and have a relay also triggered by the alarms siren output. Then you can hook as many as you want up to the relay.
