I was looking at 12volt.com and it says

Door Lock - Pink/Light Green - Drivers Kick Panel
Door Unlock - Pink / YELLOW - Reverse Polarity

What exactly do I connect to what?

Here is the wiring diagram for the unit.
How do I wire the 5-Wire connector?

Thank you all in advance.

It depends on what you are doing.
Let us know what you are installing and how many lock wires it has, either 2 or 6.

Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.

On further examination, it probably means pink / YELLOW, neg. pulse to lock, pink/green, neg. pulse to unlock.

Howie, they are reverse polarity. Both leads rest at ground through the switch.

speedy911, Cut the Pink/Light Green lock wire. The switch side will be connected to the PK/YL lead of the 5 pin harness of the keyless entry. The motor side will be connected to the YEL lead of the 5 pin harness of the keyless entry.

Cut the Pink / YELLOW unlock wire. The switch side will be connected to the PK/GR lead of the 5 pin harness of the keyless entry. The motor side will be connected to the LT.GR lead of the 5 pin harness of the keyless entry.

The PK lead of the keyless entry will be connected to a fused constant 12V+ source.

Yes, I realised this AFTER I checked, problem is what's our friend trying to do, over here I've never even SEEN an 87 Mustang!
Sorry, just remembered did one about 10 years ago, 5 wire.
To our first poster 5 wire simply means you are interrupting the wiring pathway of the lock and unlock MOTOR wires via 2 relays, that's why I asked what you were trying to do and how many lock wires were on the unit,if 2 you will need the relays and the diagramme as shown in the relay section, if 6 you won't.
12 volts, go to bed!

Howie, his unit has built in relays (see "5-wire connector" in image)... maybe you should go back to bed :p

You're right, I didn't know if that photo was an OEM Ford part, I assumed the poster wanted to ADD a keyless entry. The bed comment was that it must be about 4:00am in your part of the world. Since you aren't Craig M. I can't add any "swamp person" comments either.
