Can you guys check my schematics for my remote start installation on a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee?  The remote start unit is made my Stellar (parent company The Hoffman Group), the unit is an RS1050.  I also purchased a transponder bypass unit.  I picked this unit becuase it can be used with an OEM key fob and the range on the OEM unit is great.

One really important question I have:   Will this unit cause any issues with my jeep's Sentry Key?  The bypass transponder unit has a key sense wire, but the 2006 grand cherokees don't have a keysense wire. Thus it appears the only way to deactivate the transponder is by pressing the brake.  However, there will be a momentary overlap of the bypass transponder unit and the key in the ignition both sending signals to the ignition, until I press on the brake.  Should I be concerned about this???

It looks ok not the greatest security module but it will work. here are some better diagrams.

The key sense wire is the mux wire or the PURPLE / Brown wire

Thanks for the help.  I'm going to return the BYTRAN (bypass made by Stellar) and get the PKUMUX instead...save myself the hassel of wiring all the relays.  Thanks for the help though, much appreciated.

Question: I asume I will still use the RS1050 RED / Black to connect to the PKUMUX Blue/White?

Also, thanks for the parking relay tip.  I didn't really want to have the hazards flashing the whole time anyways.  I asume I use the RS1050 RED / Black to connect to activate the parking light relay (pin 1)?

Thanks!!!
