i want to install a viper 560xv on a 1996 silverado but want to do it my self to save some cash
i have experience instaling car stereos and amps but non alarm systems since my truck its kinda old what would i need do i need modules or just the alarm please help me thanks in advance

If the truck did not come with keyless entry and it is not a crew cab you would need 2 relays for door locks (or DEI's 451M) and possibly a third relay for ignition three. The third ignition wire (pink/white) did not come on all of the trucks so the only way to tell is to take the truck apart and test for it.
