You definitely get what you pay for...I got this alarm on eBay for $41.00 and I want to know I it's just me or does this alarm fire false alarms 90% of the time. Also, when I am driving, it doesn't bypass the shock sensor so my pager thing keeps beeping and the alarm flashes my lights because of that...so I have to drive with headlights on all day otherwise it looks like I'm flashing my hazards. The alarm does what it's supposed to do but also fires false alarms all the time and it doesn't bypass the shock sensor when the alarm is UNLOCKED and the engine is running so the shaking from the driving trips the shock sensor and beeps the pager the whole ride and it flashes my lights. If anyone knows the answer to fix either one of these problems I would appreciate it otherwise, I know to spend the extra money for a decent name brand alarm.

Did you solder your connections? Where did you get your ground...is it to a clean, paint and primer free area in the kick panel or direct to the battery? Have you verified that the ignition wire is getting +12V when the key is on? Can you turn off the auto-arm feature?

These are a few of the things I would check....while waiting for a better system to arrive. posted_image
