I am one of those "marks" that was suckered into paying lots of $$$ for a Karr Track security system when I bought my new car 8 months ago.

Installation was by Southwest Dealer Services in California.
The system just doesn't work like promised, and I'm frustrated by the inaction of the installing dealer so I'm willing to pay an independent but knowledgeable person to fix it.
I was present when this unit was installed on my car, and the installer kept having to call someone at home base for instructions: at least a dozen times.   Not very confidence-building.

Why is there no info about Karr alarms & tracking systems on the internet? The company site (karrsecurity.com) just forwards to Southwest's site. Are they exclusive dealers?

Thanks very much.

BINGO, EBAYYY for you.

that system is going to cause you so much trouble down the road.

What did you pay for it anyways, you could have got a compustar tracker for 450.
