Can someone tell if the pink ignition that i need to tap into for remote starting is the larger or smaller wire? i have two in my harness both get 12v's with the turning of my key.

It's the larger wire. The one that follows the other ignition harness wires all the way up to the key cylinder.

Sounds to me like you might NOT be testing the wires before you make your connection......

No I test and retest that's why I question, same color same volts different ga. of wire.
