Can someone please post up the install sheet for a 1997 Subaru Impreza L 2.2L automatic?

Just looking to do a basic keyless entry.

Thanks in advance

Did that car even come with factory power door locks?

Here is a diagram for add-on actuators, drivers door.

I had a 1995 Impreza 2 door and power locks weren't a factory option.  Neither Audiovox or Bulldog list power locks for that car.

Bulldog shows this info for the 1998-1999 Impreza:

POWER LOCK        BLUE/GREEN (TYPE B)                     IN DRIVERS KICK PANEL
POWER UNLOCK   YELLOW or YELLOW/RED (TYPE B)   IN DRIVERS KICK PANEL

Interesting, I just looked it up and it was not standard but an add on option to have power door locks, windows, and mirrors.

In the UK we had to add an actuator for the driver's door. Can you lock/unlock ALL the doors from the passenger side?

Oooohhhh.... Actually that makes sense! Because the drivers door is always locked/unlocked either by hand on the inside or key on the outside and that controls the other locks. So I would need to add an actuator on the drivers door. Thanks for pointing that out!

I could send you how-to photos on the actuator mounting..except it's the wrong bloody side for you!
The trick if you need to do it is to remove all the bolts on the rear channel for the window glass, get the motor in behind, then replace, in any other position the actuator will foul the window mech.
