I've only done a few Remote Starter installs for myself and friends. Did 2 of the older model silverados, but now I want to do one of the newer 2007 body style Silverado. What's the best/easiest bypass to use with an Ultra Start 1272? (that's the only RS i've used)

The old style truck was a breeze with the INT-SL+ bypass. But just doin a little research, I think the newer models are a little tougher? Any suggestions?

Using the ADS-DL from iDatalink is my choice. Takes care of all convenience features as well as the PK3+ system. You will also need a GM3 ring or you can wire it without but without the ring there's a 30+mA draw on the elctrical system.

if you can still find a DLPK from xpresskit you can do the install in no time. and you dont need extra parts like the GM3 ring. wish they still made the DLPK. might be able to find one on ebay or something like that

Really? Why would the DLPK be so easy? I do like the sound of that!

It doesn't need an RF signal for the PK3. It does everything via data

Does anyone have the install guide for this DLPK?

go to xpresskit.com. select the year make and model and click the install guide button next to the DLPK

It actually looks like the DLPK is exactly like the Fortin CAN-SL2
DLPK INSTALL
CAN-SL2 Install

I don't like the fact you have to cut the Accessory Wire on the Transponder Connector
