i put a post a few weeks back about a problem i had with a 2006 mazda 6 speed edition (california edition, if that matters).   i installed a compustar alarm/start combo (as3000?) with an idatalink ads al tb module for the key override. upon attempting to program the module, the module failed to learn correctly. i removed the module and put wiring back to factory, and the car wouldn't recognize any of the 2 keys or the valet key. just flashed a key light on dash and wont start.    i brought the car directly to a mazda dealer where they have been working on it for 2 weeks and still havent fixed the problem. they replaced the pcm (pats module is located there), the alarm module, and the proximity key module, as well as the key transponder ring on the column. they assured me that these parts were bad as they said they werent communicating with their diagnostic computer.   as of today, they claim to have communication with all said parts replaced, but the keys still wont program for them.
i dont know what direction i should take in the matter. clearly all of these parts cannot be damaged, ive been installing remote starts part time for 5 years and i cant understand what i could have possibly done to do this damage, if even any. idatalink tech support stated that there should be no way the module could have caused this.
any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated- their estimated bill as of current is over $2500 with the problem not solved

I don't see how they could give you a bill if your vehicle isn't fixed? so they claim that ALL of those parts went bad at once? sounds to me like you need to take it somewhere competent....

Honestly sight unseen it's hard for any of us to be able to help you out on this.
