Hey guys! I have a 1998 Audi A6 Quattro and I just bought a clifford Matrix 320.3X car alarm. It has the starter kill harness. I've installed a couple alarms and understand the aspects of it. It's been awhile since I've done it though. Here's a couple questions.
1. The vehicle is a double pulse unlock and is required to have to diode isolate the door trigger. When I do that I just put the diode in line with the door unlock trigger with the driver side door closest to the alarm brain and the passenger door furthest away and it should work correct? Then does it turn this into a single pole?
2. The starter kill harness, I tap into the key side wire of the ignition harness. Then there are two other wires that are both for motor side, but one is normally open and one is normally closed. So basically when the starter isn't engaged which one should be on the starter side of the wire?

Do you mean the door triggers or the door lock triggers since you mentioned both.
I'll assume you meant door triggers, if so green to one side, spare wire (the violet?) which you won't be using in this install to the other side cut the green about 4" from the alarm module join the 2 wires to your diodes, bands away from the alarm, the join both to the green.
If this alarm has comfort close, programme it in it will close your windows/roof on locking.
Only use common and normally closed, it's safer, doesn't matter which way round.

Sorry I kinda confused myself, I didn't realize there is one to trigger the alarm and one to unlock the doors.
The alarm install manual says Green (-) door trigger input (n/c or n/o) and to wire my vehicle up it says BROWN / Yellow wire for driver and BROWN / white wire for all other three. Use both wires and must diode isolate from each other.
And the door lock harness has 8 different wires
H2/1-Unlock #87 Normally open (input)
H2/2-Unlock #30 Common (output)
H2/3-Unlock #87a Normally closed
H2/4-Lock #87 Normally open (input)
H2/5-Lock #30 Common (output)
H2/6-Lock #87a Normally closed
H2/7-Flex relay #87 Normally open (input)
H2/8-Flex relay #87a Normally closed

Wire the locks for type "B" neg pulse, read my post it explains what to do with the green wire to your BROWN / yellow and BROWN / white wires.
The lock and unlock wires are in the same DKP plug as the driver side (BROWN / yellow) door trigger.
