I'm having the same problem too - happens more often than not now that I get the US-4.

Have you recently had a dead battery? I'm wondering if that is the cause, as I think this started happening after I had to charge my battery after it died. (can't rememeber)

The battery is running low. Change the battery. Use Duracell or Energiner

Guess I should clarify - my car battery died. I'm wondering if that's what caused the command start to mis-function.

I'll try replacing the battery in the command start remote though - thanks.

There has been issues with the 9000SS remote controls. It's been identified by Compustar as a battery drain problem on these remote controls. If your remote battery only lasts 1 month, return the remote to the place you had it installed and get a replacement one.
