Hello all. My last few vehicles have come with OEM security systems so, other than installing a basic alarm system in my son's 95 civic a year or so ago, it's been a while since I have work with auto security. I recently purchased a 2006 Mazda MX-5 Miata. The previous owner had a Code Alarm CA-303 Keyless Entry Security Upgrade system installed to allow the security system to work while retaining the OEM keyfobs. I would like to add a power window module to the car to automatically raise the windows when I arm the car. Is this possible with the CA-303? Below is a list of the wires on the harness based on the installation manual I downloaded from here. None of them are clearly labelled "ground when armed" like I am used to and therefore I am unsure If I can add a window module like I used to many many years ago. Also appears that the starter. kill is internal and therefore does not have the ground when armed output for a starter kill relay. Is there anything I can do to add the window module? If not, is there a comparable system on the market I could replace the Code Alarm with? Thanks in advance.

I am posting a reply to my own post as an update as I made a mistake in the original post and I also have some new info. First, I apparently have a CA330, not a 303. Also, I have spoken to audiovox and confirmed that the alarm is fairly basic and does not have a ground when armed output. They recommended a new upgrade model they offer but am not really crazy about the idea of installing a complete new system. Based on the wiring code I posted in the original post, is there anything I can do with a relay or 2 to allow me to add the module to raise the windows when arming? I am not looking for an aux channel where I can lower or control the windows independently, I just want to raise them when arming. Thanks in advance. -Bill
I would use the Arm input signal to the alarm--this is wired to the Positive door lock motor in the vehicle. You could use a relay to create a ground signal triggered by the Arm signal going high (i.e. the relay provides a ground when the lock motors are activated). Please note this will roll up the windows everytime the doors lock. The relay would be wired as follows:
86-Arm(+)
85-Ground
30- Ground
87-Ground relay output to Roll up module input
The output of the relay could be used to trigger your roll up module.
You could further gate this function when the vehicle is running, so the windows don't roll up when you are inside the car while it is running and you lock the doors. I would use a second relay to break the output from the first relay when the car is running and wire as follows:
86-ignition signal (pink from alarm).
85-Ground
30- relay ground output (pin 87 from 1st relay)
87a-output to Roll up module input

Thank you very much. Makes perfect sense. I appreciate the help.
