Well I need some real help, details below
Make/model: 2000 Toyota MR2 Spyder
Alarm: Viper ESP 500 with back up power from T520 DEI alarm back up power
Problem: Bought the car last year with No alarm remotes and I am guessing the car was in valet mode when I bought it because I never heard the alarm ...
Fast forward a few months - Car sat in new england winter. Battery died
Got battery jumped and fried a alternator fusible link. After fixing that, the car won't start, the alarm just goes off and chirps when I try to start it. When I remove the AM2 Fuse from the Mr2 fuse box, the car starts but I have no electronics (no gauges, no radio etc). I plug the fuse back in, I can't start the car but I do have radio, gauges etc.
I am pretty sure the alarm is disabling my starter. I recently found it and also the valet button. I pushed it with the key in like the manual said and it did nothing. I even tried pushing it once, pushing it twice, pushing it up to 5 times like the manual says and the alarm still chirps when I try to start.
Please help,

Probably a starter cut on the starter wire, joined to green and violet from the 500. Join the wires together, then try. Also thin green wire fro 500 should be grounded when programming.
------------- Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.
