What's the reason for a valet key? I've always seen it on the fourums but never knew what it's purpose was.

Typically on a 2 key system- it turns on ignition and opens door, but does not open glove box or trunk- so that  a high class joint's parking valet has access to your car but not to your valuables...but times have changed- we now have one key does it all systems - so some may say a valet key will be one that opens door, but does not have a transponder in it to start car- I typically call that a service key....just my thoughts on the matter..

Also use it when installing a 556 type unit in BMWs,the regular key "talks" to the car and it won't lock etc. when using an R/S.

Pretty much as described, on Toyota's the Valet doesn't do trunk or glove box. That is all changing as new Toyota's are not including them...

I have remote start from Autostart. Recently appeared "V" on the screen and doesn't allows to me to start my car. I guess, it's the valet key. How to disable it? I Can't find user's manual.

Nothing to do with Valet key, my guess is you've placed the alarm in valet mode, check your owner's manual.
