Is it okay to take power from the sensor port directly, and if so do I need the 1a fuse? I ask as the Viper 1002 installation manual suggests a tilt sensor can plug directly to the brain's sensor port, but the sensor instructions say take power elsewhere.

As the ground on the sensor port is controlled by GWA is it okay to connect ground directly to the sensor port?

Thanks in advance.

You don't need the fuse, connect to the sensor port and cut BOTH loops on the 507.
DON'T connect ground directly to the sensor port.

Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.

Cheers! Should the ground be connected to the Orange wire on the main harness of the alarm instead?
