need help asap
basically i bought this kit to fit to a lotus elise to give remote operation of a dvr system i have installed
i can't for the life of me figure out how to wire the 2 relays to get it to latch
here is a link to the kit with the diagram for the 2 relays

Perform the remote transmitter "learn" routine.

Select the Latching Output Option by placing the shorting link cap on Pins 2 - 3.  In the 1 - 2 position
it will only provide the "momentary" signal while the remote button is depressed, 26 seconds max.

Wire the DVR control wire thru Relay Connection  COM and NO. 

First transmitter press will turn ON, next press will turn off.

do i not need to use both relays then so one button to turn it on and one to turn it off
i've done the learn remote and have the jumper in position but still no joy

Don't think so.  The instructions are somewhat vague. 

You have the QS2 model?   Two button transmitter and two relay outputs?

You might try using a Digital Multi Meter to determine which remote button controls which relay. 

Set meter to resistance and connect to either relay, COM and NO pins.  At rest you should show open circuit, pressing the correct button should go to closed ( ~0 ohms ).
