HI hope some one can help me im looking for a way to activate the security system on the UK Lexus is200, i need to be able to set the alarm by a trigger form an additional circuit I.e proximity or similar

the us market allows you to lock the car via the drivers door and this will activate the alarm and lock all connected doors the uk module only unlock and locks the drivers door which does not help with the activation of the alarm

Anyone had any experience with the factory alarm system and a way to arm and disarm it ??

Ok back now looks like best way is to use factory keyfob to activate door lock circuit in order to keep cat1 standard alarm
