Just finished doing an '09 Infiniti G37 with push-to-start. Remote starter is an Excalibur RS330-EDP, interface module is a DB-ALL flashed with the 401.NISS2 firmware, connected using the D2D cable. Parking lights are hardwired, and basically every other function is controlled through the D2D.

Everything works seemingly well, with the exception of the column lock release. It will intermittently fail to function during takeover attempts - the dash display shows an indicator which says to turn the steering wheel left and right while pressing the Start button, but the column never releases when this is done, and the switch never goes to the ACC or ON positions.

Other times the takeover works exactly as it's supposed to.

Anyone else ever experienced this before? I can't figure out why it's behaving this way, and it'd be nice to avoid having to tell the customer to shut down with the brake and restart.

Yes, it's an Intellikey (push-to-start).

As mentioned above, the normal takeover works properly most of the time.

Never used a DBALL but I would try interrupting the intellikey ignition wire with a relay.
