I have a python 1401 having problems entering MTS mode.

Installed it no problems from a older remote start(design tech).

I have tried it the way the book says to do it and it will not work. If i put the unit in auto. transmission mode it starts right up.

I have check door pin negitive its a toyota tacoma. checked at brain.
I have check brake lights 12v. getting power there also.

Mts open door press and release brake pedal lights should flash maybe im doing it wrong?

edit i also have the tach learned.

Parking brake is grounded for now.

Hood pin connected? Toggle switch plugged in and ON ??

I am currently installing the python 1401 with fortin key override in my 2011 tacoma auto. Which wires on the python did you hook up to for +12vdc constant ignition 2, ignition 2/flex relay output, flex relay input 87a and +12vdc constant input for acc and starer relays?

did you hook up the orange accessory output?

I'm just wanting the basic remote start, lock &unlock for my truck.

Any advice would be a great help.
