Hi, I have a 2010 Subaru Legacy with a Viper 5701 unit installed.

Currently with a key the vehical will not crank.  I have tested the battery and it was showing 12.3 volts.  Just to rule it out I attached jumper cables, and it still did not crank.  The dash light for oil temp flashes red then blue and strobes when the key is turned to the on position.  The brake light was also blinking.  There was not a check engine light or a code.

I have tried putting the Car in both park and neutral with the same results.  All the fuses appear to be in good shape.

Prior to this event the car had zero issues starting with either the key or the remote start.

If anyone has an suggestions it would be greatly appriciated.  Thank you very much for your time.

Thanks, Dan

Main plug should have a green key side and violet starter side.
Check to see if you have voltage at both sides when you turn the key to the start position or continuity with everything switched off.
If you don't you have an internal relay failure on the unit. There is a work around but simply loop the green and violet together.

Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.
