I'm trying to install a remote start on a 1995 chevrolet k1500 pickup, can someone please help with the H3 harness.  Everything I can find says that the 8th wire should be wired to 12v constant, when I do that the starter engages.  Any ideas?  Thanks.

Red, RED / White, RED / Black all need to be hooked to a constant (+) 12V source (Red wire at ignition switch harness)

Pink wire needs to be hooked to Pink wire at ignition switch harness

Pink/White wire needs to be hooked to white wire at ignition switch harness

Violet wire needs to be hooked to yellow wire at ignition switch harness

Orange wire needs to be hooked to orange wire at ignition switch harness

Thanks for the info, what about the brown wire that this info calls ignition 3?  I checked it and it shows 12v at run only not on start or accessory?
