Before ordering one of these I would like to know exactly how they are installed.  Does anybody have a wiring diagram?  Will I need diodes?

If you have never installed a car alarm, it would be best to get it installed professionaly. If you have done car alarms before then it should be fairly simple. One can add these on with/or with/out a car alarm.
Instructions come w/ the package, if not then you bought it used. No need for diodes unless you have a complex car alarm system installed.
