compustar cm3000 and dei 502t closed loop

Hey Guys,

Im new to the site and was wondering if anyone has knowledge with the DEI 502T closed loop trigger modules...

I have an older compustar 2way unit (cm3000) and have trigger space available and purhased the 502T.

I have the red plug (from compustar) i was hoping to use on the control module that coincides with the "optional sensor input" pins (there are 2 pins). pin info is as follows:

Pin #1: This wire is used as an optional sensor input. It is internally connected to stage #1, also known as the warn away input.

Pin #2: This wire is used as an optional sensor input. It is internally connected to stage #2, also known as the instant trigger input.

no the 502T i can figure out (at least the red (12V), Black (ground) and BLACK/ white (ground loop wire) wires but am unsure about the trigger out put wires (purple and green).

the instructions with the 502T show that only one of trigger outputs need to be used (either purple (+), or green (-))

Now my questions:
which trigger wire do i use?
do i simple wire the right trigger wire to my "optional sensor input" red plug?
which pin do i wire it too (pin 1 or 2)?
are diodes or fuses or anything else required?
is there another way to do this?
what does stage#1 and stage #2 refer too?

any help would be appreciated, please keep in mind i am not an installer but understand enough i think i can get this done.

Stage 1 Warn away and stage 2 instant trigger are normal used for a motion sensor or shock sensor. stage 1 being trigger would cause the siren to chirp a few times indicating the vehicle has an alarm and stage 2 will immediately set off the alarm if its triggered. I'm guessing the 502t is going to be used on the tailgate of your truck. However you use it you either need to connect the green(-) or purple (+) to the instant trigger stage 2 of the alarm, depending on what type of input will trigger the alarm (+ or -). Although normally the 502T would be connected to a door or trunk trigger and diode isolated.

hi, thanks for the info. i appreciate it. i will be using the loop to wrap through my dirtbike (front tire probably). i came up with this diagram, do you think it will work for my application?
ps, i want the alarm to sound as soon as the wire is disconnected/broken (i will have a male and female end plug to do so).
