Does anyone know how to wire a 2 step unlock on a 00 Nissan altima?
The alarm I will be using is an Autopage c3 rs730. I want to unlock driver side with first press of "unlock" button and then unlock all remaing doors with the second press.

open up your door panel, look for the driver door unlock motor wire.

use a relay with the driver door priority unlock from the car you will power up the YELLOW (REV) wire going towards the motor, the second unlock wire from the unit goes to Purple (-)black module right of the steering column in Grey plug.

Thanks tedmond!

I found both wires and hooked up the purple (-) wire from SECM to the alarm pink (-) programmable 2 step unlock wire. Now I have all doors unlock on second press of the unlock button from remote.

I am a little unclear on how to wire the relay to the unlock wire. Can you please tell me what wire goes to what corresponding # on the relay?
I reviewed the diagrams but there are many variations.

Thanks

Do you have central locking in this vehicle? In reference to ted's post, locate the driver's door actuator unlock wire, and cut it in half and wire a relay like this

Pin 30 to the side of the cut wire from the driver door

Pin 87@ to the other side

Pin 86 and 87 to 12 volts constant fused at five amps

Pin 85 to the primary unlock wire from the alarm system.

Yes I believe I do have central locking. Thanks for the info. I will try it out later today and post the results later.

When I move the drivers lock manually nothing else happens. I do have a switch on the drivers door that controls the power door locks, one push one way locks all doors, push the other way unlocks all doors.

When I move the drivers lock by the door handle manually it only moves in the direction I push it and nothing else moves.

Thanks

Ok. Then you're set.
