HI all
im after some advice i have 2 OBD units that i need to connect to one obd port now i know that both units use a version of IP addressing which means that i get conflicts with both units plugged in, one must have priority etc.
what i am wondering is if its as simple as i think that if i put a relay in on certain pins it will then only allow one item to work at a time this is fine.
i know some of you are probably thinking why not just unplug etc and do it that way
due to the car pc and a set of gauges i would like to alternate between the 2
Cheers

infact thinking more about this the units get there power from the OBD port so could i put a toggle switch inline with it so the power is only going to one unit at a time?

Don't mess with the OBD ll port, it can throw up trouble codes and cost you big money in the worst case.
------------- Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.
