my remote works when it wants to ,it dropped down a few times under the dash so I just ty wrapped it up in the dash so it wont fall, i dont use it any more how ever my remote start dosent work with the key  FOB  yet it will start and run fine with the car key ,is it OK to leave the remote broken,I dont care to fix it ,I never use it anyway.

If it ain't hurting the way you use the car there's probably no sense in removing it...
