I had a miniture car painted the same color as my car.  The big car has green underbody, and the little car has a green led in the backseat.  I was attempting to attatch the small led to the status light of my alarm (the light the blinks while the car alarm is on) But i am unsure what output the status light has.  I attempted to connect it directly to tle wire and ground it other places, but it didnt work, so i plugged it to the park lamps.  Do i need a relay for connnections between a staus light and a additional LED? I have a avistart alarm, fully connected.

Oh and it's a 2.5 volt LED, don't get a 12volt.
