Hi all, i bought a new alarm with remote central locking system. im having trouble wiring in in though. the alarm manual is showing 2 wires to be connected between the door lock and CCU but im not sure what 2 wires to connect them to. theres grren/red, WHITE/ blue, black, WHITE/ red, blue/white, blue/red and red.

my brain is fried in this matter so any help will be much apprechiated.

Is this a 5 door UK build or a Japanese 3 door or coupé? There's a reason for my question, They have different locking systems, also when you use a key on the passenger door does it lock all the doors or just that one.
In the first case you will need two relays, the second two relays and an actuator.
What make is the alarm?

hi, sorry, its 3 door coupe. the passenger lock only activates the passenger door, but the drivers side opens both.

the alarm is a cyclone 916d5a, iv checked the manufacturers installation guide and its not the best layout ive ever seen, and the haynes manual doesnt show the current flow, just the wire colours.

OK, never heard of it so I have my doubts over its quality but rather than my usual comment of "bin it", let's try the following.

Install the alarm, most of your wiring connectors are around the fuse box.
Hatch blue/black at plug to the right of fusebox.
Doors, GREEN/ red in small loom going up driver's "A" pillar.
Check the above two colours, I'm working from memory here.
Ignition BLACK / YELLOW ign loom.
Starter BLACK/ white ignition loom.
12V+ constant, white ignition loom.
Bonnet, pin switch required.

Once installed
Check out those lock wires assuming you have a DMM although a good test light such as the Snap-On will do.
On lock (arm), one pulse NEG. for a second (actually 0.8") the other should do nothing.
On unlock (disarm) the other should pulse NEG.for the same time and the first should do nothing.
If that's the case extend those wires into the driver's door at this point you will need a 2 wire actuator at the lock and a pair of relays, then look at the relay section here, door locks, adding an actuator for wiring info. The relays, either 2 separate Bosch cube types and the actuator can be obtained from Maplin.
IMO the only entry level alarms to go for are the Clifford Arrow or Viper 1002, the Viper has those relays built in so you would need to extend 4 wires into the door which is a right PITA on those cars.
Admittedly they retail at about £100 plus install but you get what you pay for.

Just thought of another way to do that actuator without relays.
Bring in those to wires into the door as before, with the door latch pulled over, look at the white module in the door, above the speaker position.
It should have some thin blue and blue with trace wires coming out of it going back towards the lock.
Ground them (through a test lamp or a DMM) and one will lock the passenger door, the other will unlock it.
Attach your lock and unlock wires to these two and you should now be able to lock and unlock t5he passenger door via your alarm.
Coming off this module will be two motor wires, i.e. they stay grounded, one flashes 12v+ on lock, the other on unlock. They should be WHITE/ red (lock) and yellow/red (unlock) attach your actuator motor wires to these two. If the factory central locking fuse is 10 amps or less, upgrade it to 15.
By the way, as a Tottenham supporter I find your name tag extremely offensive.

sorry about the tag, the second suggestion sounds like it should work, as the guide shows to wire the lock + unlock wires between the ccu and door switch, but there is no yellow/red wire. il double check but im sure its exact to the manual. as you said, i think its going to be a case of test them and hope for the best.
