I have installed a AutoPage C3-RS-727A Alarm Remote Start to my sons Cady every thing work fine up to where it will remote start with the key in.
Now that I am installing the DEI 555G all the wiring is hoked except for the blue wire, here when I ground the blue wire to start the learning code precess with the key in. the LED will flash once but it wont stay on.
Am I missing something or the DEI is bad
any suggestion are very welcome
Thanks

Please disregard the first post...I tried to delete it before it was read...the manual DEI has on their site is for the 555G7, which is just the GMBP, not the unit you are using. I went out to the garage and opened a old 555G that I had on the shelf and read through the manual. Why are you grounding the blue wire instead of letting the RS do it? From what I can make out from your post, the bypass isn't seeing the ignition and probably isn't going into program mode.

Right that is correct
and what are you saying is that the blue wire should be connected to the alram?
right?

Yes, connect the gwr from the bypass to the RS system and try programming again.

you mean the blue wire from the dei555g yo the rs
it should be a negative pulse when staring or always negative?

The ground will only be present during remote start, not a constant ground, nor a 'pulse'. When the remote start is activated the wire goes to ground and stays there the during the entire run sequence. I am not familiar with the AutoPage wiring colors, but most vendors call it their 'ground when running' output. Some vendors just provide a low current negative ignition output that could be used as well.

I think it should be pin number 18 White / Blue Wire: (-) Instant Start and Turn Off Input in the RS Module

I think this is the correct one

H10/9 Yellow wire – (-) 200mA Ignition 3 Output –
This wire provides a 200mA (-) ground output that becomes active 4 seconds before
the remote start unit initialize, and remains grounded while running.
