Hi
I just purchase this alarm from ebay and installing it now.
I'm having troubles with the central locking Lock and Unlock.
My car is a Honda Acura RSX base 2006 with remote locking already but want to use OEM alarm.
CAR LOCK is WHT/BLU
CAR UNLOCK is WHT/GRN
SpY alarm has 6 wires in total for the central locking
( orange,yellow,white )
How do I connect 6 of these wire onto 2 wires from the car?
Do I need 6? Usually I just have 2 wire from alarm on 2 from car?
How do I test which is lock and unlock on the SpY alarm?? this is where I'm doing my head in 12hrs to figure out! lol
please ignore the writing on the pictures. ------------- =)

Use lock diagram F2.

Oh and unless 5000m is a part number, expect a range of about 5 metres, that's if it even works. buy from Fleabay? Good luck.

yes the Alarm is from ebay, but for a decent price with good features I didn't mind trying it out on a tight budget and wanted to install myself to save as I'm a full time student.
The Alarm is SPY 2WAY 5000mtr.
with the diagrams #2 do I have to use a relay? if so how would I hook it up?
I used a test light to test the wires but no 12v coming out.
I have completed all the wiring today but stuck on these door locks!
nearly done! =)

It won't work and if it does you WON'T need a relay, it has supposedly on board relays and any way that relay diagram you showed will never work, you've wired it wrong, probably like the piece of junk you bought. 5000 metres or 3+ miles range??? Even Compustar, DEI all reputable products don't claim more than 1 mile (c.1500 metres) range and that would be ideal weather conditions, about 15C/50F slightly damp on a flat airfield, halve that in a city.
You get what you pay for.

No because from the level of competence shown I can't install this for you from 10,000 miles away. I've already told you it's diagram F2 and the alarm's white goes to the car's WHITE/ blue, the alarm's WHITE/ black goes to the car's WHITE/ green, except it won't work.
Garbage in (the product) garbage out.

why can't this work if I connect it like you said
is the diagram they written wrong?
I don't understand why they would sell something that won't work. if it don't work I'll try and get a refund get something better. The installers charging $300 and can't afford atm.

First have you a DMM or even (not recommended) a test light to test the unit's lock and unlock outputs?
Have you tested the car's wiring you listed in your first post?
If they're the right colours and test out OK but your alarm doesn't, do you honestly think any other part of this POS will work?
Now you are probably finding out why they charge A$300 for this kind of work.

yes, I have tested the car door lock and unlock wires and it shows positive while doors are closed and negative while door is open.
using a test light I tested the units white and the wht/blk , one on each end of the test light and nothing showing. Shold I test the wht with the wht/blk and yellow and yellow/blk?

It sounds like you have dome light triggers there, the door LOCKS are what we're talking about, with only the driver;s door open, the lock catch thrown over that door should lock and unlock using the key in the driver's door. Now take a ground wire ( preferably through a standard bulb type tester) to each in turn, that will tell us if you have the right vehicle wire. The alarm (POS) should give a neg pulse each time on it's white and WHITE/ black wires.

The trouble is I don't know which 2wires to use from the alarm for the doors. How should I test the alarm wires?
If the car locks need negative triggers the I would need positive triggers from the alarm.
Any help would be really appreciated.

Well now it's back YET AGAIN to wiring as the F2 diagram as I said originally, and seeing if you're getting a NEG pulse out of the white and WHITE/ black wires on lock and unlock.

hi again,
I wired the wht to lock and wht/blk to unlock and nothing happens. I tested with DMM and it shows " - " 0.01-0.02 volts.

I read and found these diagram for neg door locks.
because the alarm wires are not working when connecting directly to the car doors should I need a relay like these?
I do have a small amount of voltage coming out of the wht and wht/blk wires.

No. Since you have 6 lock wires you should have internal relays so buying these would be a waste of your money. Set your meter to 20VDC, red probe to a constant 12V+ source in the car, e.g. white at fuse box or ignition loom, then test the white on lock/arm and the WHITE/ black on unlock/disarm. You should get 12V+ each time. If not throw the POS away, because all I can say is I told you so.

The manual says 6 wire central locking, will try what you suggested now fingers cross.
what should be done next if I get 12V+.
I'm heading to the car park now as its 100 mtrs away lol.

Wire it as I told you, if you get 12 volts+, then connect it up and away you go.
2 possibilities:-
Stick to your day job.
It's a POS, throw it away.

Earth to earth, ashes to ashes, dust to dust, in sure and certain hope that the POS doesn't come back. It's land fill and you can never get your time back that you spent on the installation.
