I don't think it will work. The 555P is compatible with the older PATS systems. The 03 Focus has the newer Sentry type transponder.

You'll need the 555UW or the PKFM. You can also use the Idata link ADSTB.

Again Sy, apologies, we never had that much choice over here, either use a 556 or remove the RFI chip, it didn't matter because we were installing the R/S with a Cat 1 alarm with 2 cuts any way.
I think the cursed unit was the 555F for Ford and supposedly Toyota.

When the open state door trigger came out, my first one came back because the gem was falling asleep, that is why I recommend the diodes. I also think that dei made a module for it, I think that I saw that.

Found the module...the DTIMAZDA is a open state door module interface...look it up

Not that one, that's for Mazdas and late Fords using the open circuit door pins, completely different kettle of fish.
You can also use a step up resister or a relay for the same purpose but frankly the diodes whilst fiddly are much cheaper, especially if like me you buy 200 at a time.
