Hey peeps! I've just installed a remote start alarm, but all functions except for the remote start works. It's different to other systems in the fact that it doesn.t require a tach signal wire. The one wire i have to go is named the "Accesories Off Port." Where do you hook this wire up? In the wiring diagram, it show that when the car has started, this wire senses that there is no key in the ignition. I have also been given a relay to be used inconjunction with it. It must be used with the starter, ignition, 12+ wires, but how?

Please Help!!!

i've tried connecting the acc off port wire to acc, didnt work! Used the relay and tried both open and close starter kill, didnt work too!! Than i did this:

85 - acc of port

87 - 12v+

87a - Ign 12v+

30 - starter

It cranked on but a burning smell came out from the bonnet. It began to burn the starter. I quickly pulled out the wires so the car is fine. So i am close to the answer. how can i reconfigure the wires to make it work safely.
