I recently purchased a Viper 5901 alarm, works perfect. The remote start works correctly.

I bought a Xk05 xpresskit PKTI and so to start the vehicle without the key in the switch. I was not sure where the cable to be Rx and Rt

Not being sure what the best connection or D2D o W2W. D2D and I try not to make the red LED turns off. LED always on.

I apologize for my English, only speaking Spanish.

Don't think we had either an Echo or Yaris in the U.S. in 2005.  Using the information available for the
2006 Yaris, The connector you are looking for is at the ignition switch.  It should be a 7 Pin connector with
the RX and TX wire at locations 4 and 5, respectively ( Pin 3 is empty ).  The RX should be Green and the TX
should be Violet.  The XK05 5.PKTI Install guide has a pretty good illustration of the ignition switch and the
Immobilizer connector.
Going D2D with the Viper should work fine.  If the Viper has the D2D jumpers on the side, ensure they are in the
horizontal position.  If you decide to go W2W, don't connect the 4 Pin D2D harness, just connect the Red
wire ( Pin 9 of the 10 Pin harness ) to +12v constant, the Black wire ( Pin 10 of the 10 Pin harness ) to
chassis ground and the Brown GWR wire (Pin 1, same harness ) to the Vipers' BLUE (-) 200mA STATUS OUTPUT wire.

That plug looks nothing like the one Toyota uses here in the US. Are you sure it even has a chip key? I don't recall ever seeing an Echo with one...

Hi friend! if you have a chip in the key to start the vehicle. On the board there is a red LED that goes off when you insert the key with the chip, I try to start the vehicle with a copy or light

On the XK05 5.PKTI install guide, the 3 wires from 10 Pin connector, Pins 2, 5 & 8 must be physically connected
to the vehicle.  If you connect the XK05 to the Viper in the D2D mode, the 4 Pin Data Harness is used and the
three connections shown a blue dashed lines are not necessary.  In W2W mode the 4 Pin D2D harness is not used and
the 3 blue dashed lines are connected as shown.

The RX and TX signals are Data type signals.

Just to be sure..

1.  The vehicle will remote start if a working key is placed in the ignition switch, but not turned.
2.  The vehicle will not remote start if there is no working key placed in the ignition.

My own experience of these based on the British made Euro Version is that you don't need anything as complex as an XK05. Use a 556U and hardwire* everything. Or remove the RFI chip from the key an utilise the starter cut anti grind (green key side, violet starter side) for the immobiliser.
* On the first version pre-05 you could do an alarm in about 45 mins. Pop the centre dash to get at lock relay, also had door triggers and indicators (lights)there.
This vehicle is too simple to bother with an expensive by-pass and the usually less reliable D2D.

The XK05 must be re-flashed to reset the module.

The programming instruction are on page 8 of the install guide for your car.  The Toyota programming instructions do not have you press the programming button.

According to the Install guide, the only way to reset the XK05 with 5.PKTI firmware is to re-flash( reload )  the firmware.  This requires the XKLoader cable.

AS I said before with this vehicle, all you need is a 556U, anything else is absolutely over the top.
