Describe or explain "follow you home lights".
What exactly doesn't work?
Vehicle make, model and year please.

Its an option on the alarm for the headlights (or in my case foglights) to remain on for 20 secs after the car is locked and alarm activated.

It worked when I first got the car but after playing around with alarm functions to get the remote start working, the follow home lights have not worked since, nor have the foglights on their own. The manual is no help at all.

Wouldnt have thought it matters but the car is a year 2000 subaru impreza turbo.

You would need someone like me to go over the whole installation, at a guess the aux out on arming has had it's output or the relay power compromised. Foglights? It's better to do the headlights.
You really need some one like me at £40 per hour to go over the whole install and rectify it.
But first check all your fuses (properly with a DMM, not visually).

Thankfully it was foglights, otherwise I would be unable to drive at night right now! Pretty sure I pressed a combination of buttons on the remote that de-activated it, need someone with clifford knowledge to tell me what I did.

You will probably glitch other things, you have to have a pro do this. What about the people who originally installed it?

According to the certificate it was installed by a company in Dudley, which is where I bought the car from.
Good call with that, I will give them a ring. Long drive but would be worth it to get it sorted.
