ok i have attempted my first alarm/keyless entry and it went well and im sitting here lookin at the install manual for my clifford 50.7x alarm/ remote start that im installing in my 1998 bmw 328i and in the book it says that there is a (+) ignition 1 input/output, a (+) fused ignition 2/ flex relay input 87, a (+) fused ignition 1 input, and a (+) ignition 2/ flex relay output. now how do i wire these 4 wires up. i have never hooked up a remote start before and i was hoping to do this myself instead of payin someone a couple hundred to install it for me.

A couple hundered bucks for labor? What did you pay for the alarm? Whats your time worth?

Add it all up and ask yourself..... is my car worth this? OR MORE?

Pay, have it done by a pro.

Pink on alarm to light green.
Green on alarm to key side of cut starter wire light GREEN/ black.
Purple (violet) on alarm to starter side of light GREEN/ black.
Pink/white on alarm to purple.
Red, RED / white and RED / black to RED / blue, RED / green at ignition and fuse.
All in ignition lead.
Is this an E36 or E46?

Red, RED / white and RED / black to RED / blue, RED / green at ignition and fuse this is for a constant 12v + right so then i could connect the Red, RED / white and RED / black pretty much to any fused constant 12v+ supply right

Yes which is why I told you to solder them to the red wires in the ignition loom.
