Hi guy's

I have a accord ch6 hatchback with een f18b2 vtec engine.

Original there was a keyless entry, but after installing the clifford concept650 the keyless entry became useless.

So i removed the receiver from the assy, and used 2 of the wires to let the clifford open and close the doors.

But there is one problem. If i use the clifford remote to open the doors, and open the boot directly, doors close within 30 seconds (after interior light goes of).

I there something to bypass this, maybe connect the boot switch to one of the door contacts???

this is really irritating me. couse if the doors close automaticly, i have to turn the clifford on and of to open the doors!!

I called the honda dealer here in the netherlands, they said that the passenger side fusebox has an timer circuit, that wil be triggered if 1 of the 4 doors aren't been opened in the timespan of 30 seconds. Doors will automaticly close.

does somebody know a fix for that.

Thanx in advance.

Nico from the netherlands.

by the way, clifford interface cable and usb 2 rs232 sux.

Yes, open a door and leave it open.
USB to interface cable won't work, we tried about 5 years ago to no avail.

Usb 2 serial works, but only , if you externaly power the clifnet wizzard cable.

have to find a solution for the bootswitch. First i thought that the clifford did this. But its really the accord.

maybe i'll try to connect de bootswitch with one of the doorswitches.

Try that but diode it before the boot/door connection. Best place is the instrument panel if you have door and trunk open warning lights.

No to separate to avoid confusion. Loop from trunk/boot indicator to door, diode 1N4004 in line with the band (cathode) towards the trunk
indicator.

ok thanx...

have an other question, bought a smartwindows 4 package.

But it;s really difficult to instal that. couse i have all the switches in the drivers door, not in the center console.

Is there an other way to close all windows with the concept AUX timed, when arming the system.. got 4 windows to close.

Makes no difference. To make it work properly you MUST go to EACH pair of motor wires after the switches so you have to go into each door any way. Good luck on a Honda!
Incidentally the 530t which superceded it about 5 years ago is a much better product.
Can you close all your windows by holding the driver's door key in the lock?
Also a dealer should be able to turn off the "auto re-lock" facility via his diagnostic computer.

honda dealer said, that it was standard and couldn't  be reversed.(auto re-lock) maybe there is a key combi just like the vauxhall vectra's to get it off.

And no, i can't close all my windows with the key in the door. Only honda's with superlock (double lockpulse have that.)

should figor out somethings myself i think...

we'll post again when it works..!!!

Thanx for the help Howii..

does your alarm have a second unlock out? if so use it to pulse a door pin wire.   you could also use a fact alarm disarm wire for that if the clifford has it.
