I have just installed an alarm and remote start kit into a 2000 seat Ibiza and the factory alarm keeps setting off when the turbo timer or remote start are running, I have used a 556uw and that is beeing triggered by the ignition

First time I have had this problem and feel frustrated and a bit silly now :(
Thanks for any help :)

Thank you for rewording the topic, head really was not working,
Have 2 other questions relating to this
The factory closure is triggered by an extended lock pulse, and takes around 7 seconds to fully close, would it matter if the pulse was held for 20 seconds? As that the only option from the alarm, and also the boot trigger is from the light so has a 12v untill it's earthed out, will hsi affect the bonnet trigger as that seems to just be an earth connection if I was to put both together with some diodes so they do t trigger each other?'

Thanks again

20 seconds makes no difference on VAG cars My trick was to use an aux output set to 10 seconds for closing but the 20 secs makes no difference, the body control shuts it down.
Kill the factory alarm, assuming there's a two plug comfort box under dash to the right of the steering column under driver dash.
Cut one of the three U/Sonic leads and the siren, I think that's BLACK / YELLOW right in the middle also disconnect the BLACK/ white and BLACK/ green indicator wires.
Diode boot and bonnet triggers, they should be on that comfort module, BROWN / black (there are two, it's the thin one) bonnet is BROWN / red
Also diode with band away from that module BEFORE you join, it's a sleeper circuit and will trigger every half hour, not required on dome (courtesy) light trigger.
I've based that on the Mk. lV Golf, colours may vary.

Oops! It's Polo based but the colours should still apply, not sure where the factory alarm module is though.
