My remote on the viper 5901 died and now it wont lock/unlock after I recharged it. What could be the issue? And how would I fix it?

it probably needs to be reprogramed to work with your 5901.,.. its not hard to do it is in the manual... i can look it up if you cant find it .

I'll try that, the remote seems wierd. Like it says it's full, but if I press a few buttons at the same time it dies. Could the remote be bad already? Im not too sure on how to pair it.

make sure it didnt magically get programmed for car II.... i've had that happen to customers....

last guy i had to go into the remote menu and program car 2 ON.... then go back in and program car 2 OFF and it worked fine.....

i have never had to reprogram or re-pair a remote ever......
