I purchased a used truck and while looking under the hood, I noticed an alarm siren mounted on the fender. I followed the wires back through the firewall into the cab and found a car alarm/remote start unit. There was no transmitter with the truck. From looking online, the unit is discontinued. Is there anywhere I can get a remote transmitter for this unit or perhaps there is a new model that would work.

The unit is an Autostart AS-4565TW FCC ID: NAH 800R

Sorry, the truck is a 2000 Toyota Tacoma if this info is needed.

Here is a link to Autostart for Owners and Install Guides : https://www.autostart.ca/downloads_user_install_guides.php The guide gives a picture of the remote.

You might try calling an authorized dealer to see if they have the remote FOB available.
