I have seached through the forums and did not find solution. What is the best ignition wire to use for shock sensor? I tried the pink and the brown wire at the ignition harness and neither would shut off sensor when vehicle was running.

Also, what would be the best trigger to use? Can I use the hood pin wire with a diode? If so, where is wire and what is the color? Would it be better to use door trigger?

Vehicle is 2010 Chevy Silverado LT CC 4WD with factory alarm and remote start

Typically you tie the 12vdc directly to constant 12vdc and the ground to a switched ignition. With the key of the ignition wire rests at ground, when the key is on it goes to 12vdc thus shutting the shock sensor off.

You can use a hood pin or a door pin (assuming the windows don't drop when you open the door). Also, before using any OEM trigger do a current draw on it to make sure it doesn't draw more then 50mA which will damage the shock sensor. I've seen door pins that draw close to an amp and damaged these things. Regardless of the trigger you use diode isolate for best results.
