Is that TIPStart, or Regular fobkey?

Did you try calling DEI?

I would use a PKUMUX if it was reg fobkey.

I had this same issue on a Dodge heavy duty truck. Spent half a dozen appointments trying to track this down, pulled the brain antenna and remote and sent them to DEI to try to reproduce the issue and they couldnt, uninstalled everything, re wired in new harnesses and still no solution, switched the unit to a 5701 2 way LED and the problem went away. DEI said that there had to be something in the vehicle causing the issue but the truck was completely stock. At the end of the day I never found a solution, if you figure your problem out let me know.
